Merry Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the boattosea.cn website, Merry, and related account, support, and platform connection features provided by Merry. Third-party websites and platforms you visit through links have their own privacy policies, which you should also review. This Policy does not replace a separate data processing agreement between you and a business customer.

2. Information we process

Depending on the features you use, we may process the following categories of information:

• Account and contact information: name, work email, phone number, business name, account identifiers, and information needed for login and security verification that you provide.
• Business information you provide: goals, product information, content materials, operating records, customer or order information, and files you enter, upload, or ask Merry to process. Please provide only information you are entitled to use.
• Information from connected platforms: when you choose to connect an external platform, we process the account identifiers, content, operating data, interaction or performance data, and authorization credentials needed for the feature you enable, within the permissions you grant. The exact categories depend on the feature and the permissions actually granted by that platform. The presence of a permission in a developer dashboard does not mean we have obtained the associated data.
• Website and service technical information: device and browser information, access times, IP address, operation and error logs, and necessary cookies or similar information may be processed to provide login, security, and troubleshooting features.
• Communications: your inquiries, feedback, privacy requests, and records of how they are handled.

If a feature requires sensitive information outside these categories, we will provide additional information and obtain any authorization required before enabling it.

3. How we use information

We process relevant information to create and maintain accounts; provide the Merry features you enable; carry out business tasks you confirm; connect platforms you authorize; generate reports and results; provide support; protect accounts and systems; handle payments; and meet applicable legal obligations. We use data obtained from an external platform only as needed for the relevant feature.

4. Platform authorization, withdrawal, and control

You initiate connections to external platforms. The authorization screen shows the permissions offered by the platform, and some features cannot operate without them. You may withdraw authorization through Merry or the relevant platform's account settings. Withdrawal generally stops future access but may not automatically remove data already stored in Merry. To request deletion, see the User Data Deletion Instructions and contact us. Your original account and content on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or another third-party platform must be managed on that platform.

5. Sharing and service providers

Where needed to provide the service, providers involved in hosting, communications, support, payments, security, or other enabled features may process necessary information on our instructions. When you authorize or initiate an action, necessary information may also be transmitted to the relevant third-party platform. A business relationship alone does not give another organization unrestricted permission to use your data. Disclosures required by law, business changes, or protection of rights are handled under applicable law, with notice where required.

6. Storage, international transfers, and security

We determine where and how long information is stored based on the service and applicable law. If information must be transferred across borders, we will take measures required by applicable law and provide additional information where necessary. We use access controls, transmission protection, permission management, and incident handling measures appropriate to the risks of the information we process. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information while needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect security. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it as applicable. Some backups, security records, or information that must be kept by law may follow the relevant backup cycle or legal retention requirements. You can request deletion of data from a connected platform or data associated with your entire Merry account under our User Data Deletion Instructions. We will verify your identity, process the request, and explain any legal or necessary retention that prevents immediate deletion.

8. Your rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may ask to know about, access, correct, copy, or delete personal information relating to you; withdraw consent-based processing; and object to or raise a complaint about how information is handled. Email merrycenter@boattosea.cn with your Merry account information and request. To protect your information, we may first verify your relationship to the account. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or access tokens by email. We will handle and respond to your request under applicable law.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The website and product may use cookies and similar technologies needed for login, language preferences, security, or analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies needed for a feature may affect login or your experience.

10. Minors

Merry is primarily intended for businesses and users with the legal capacity to use the service, and is not designed specifically for minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact us at the email address above and we will handle the matter under applicable law.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy when the product, our processing, or legal requirements change, and will show the latest effective date on the page. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting your rights where required.
